BAFANG 1000W Power
The A4 Gentry is equipped with a 1000W outer rotor brushless DC motor from the BAFANG sub-brand. The motor features a 5-level pedal assist system (PAS). At level 1 PAS, the controller can deliver up to 78Nm of torque, while at level 5 PAS, the speed can reach 28MPH or higher. The motor utilizes a sinusoidal wave structure with a rotation speed of up to 3358 revolutions per minute (RPM). This BLDC motor is characterized by low interference, low noise, smooth operation, high speed, high temperature resistance, and an extended lifespan exceeding 100,000 hours, ensuring stability and reliability in various complex environments and prolonged rides.

At Aipas, battery safety is our top priority. Each battery pack is engineered with a scientifically optimized internal layout and certified to meet MSDS, UN38.3, UN3171, UN3480, and UL2271 standards. Our thermal safety protocols go far beyond industry norms—ensuring zero risk of open flames or thermal runaway even under temperatures as high as 149°F. An integrated thermal protection controller automatically shuts off power in case of overheating, giving you complete peace of mind and reliable protection on every ride.

  • Why can't my newly purchased A4 power on
    Please note that the A4 power switch is protected by a waterproof cover on top of the battery. The battery switch is set to 'off' by default when shipped. Please turn on the battery power switch before riding
  • What are the folded size and weighs of A4?
    The folded size of A4 are 32 inch* 22 inch*28 inch. It weighs 55 Lbs (63 Lbs with battery).
  • Does the A4 have a speed limit, and how can it be removed?
    About the limit speed setting, you can check as following steps.
    1/Press the plus '+' and the minus '-' buttons simultaneously for few seconds, then enter the Settings Menu.
    2/Press 'switch' button to change the number into '08P' which is the speed limitation setting.
    3/Default speed setting is 32 km/h, so press the '+' button to make it higher.
    4/Shift the rear derailleur to the 7 speed and press  the '+' button to the PAS 5, then you could ride it with about 28 mph.
    Of course, our max speed can't reach 100 km/h, only reach about 45 km/h when you hold the rear wheel above the floor and the battery in fully charge.
  • What is the biggest feature of A4?
    As the second-generation foldable model launched by Aipas, the A4 has substantially improved performance compared to the previous generation A2. It excels over the A2 in terms of speed (the motor has been upgraded from 750W to 1000W). Additionally, we have made adjustments to enhance comfort, lowering the frame of the vehicle to facilitate easy boarding.
  • Will there be safety risks with the battery on the outside of A4?
    Our battery is UL certified, so there are no issues with everyday use. However, it's advisable to avoid placing it near sources of fire or other hazardous areas. Additionally, all our vehicle batteries and accessories are rated IPX6 for water resistance, meaning they can operate even in rainy weather. Nevertheless, for safety reasons, it's best not to use them in rainy conditions.
  • Why did I buy two e-bikes but only receive one tracking number or have them arrive at different times?
    Since each e-bike is shipped separately, it’s possible that due to the shipping carrier, they may arrive at different times. Please don’t worry. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our customer service department for the latest updates.
